Blogroll

A list of blogs I’m fond of, alongside some specific articles that I found interesting on them

Ben Kuhn: a mix of posts on startups, software engineering and thoughtful life advice in general.

Dan Luu: brutally efficient and researched writings on a wide range of topics, sometimes software- (and hardware-) related, but not only.

Rachel by the bay: tales from the trenches by a sysadmin, with its share of advices and funny stories, but also great takes such as “THE ONE”.

Julia Evans: a software developer talking about fundamental topics such as TCP or the kernel and making them accessible. Also has an excellent post about asking questions, and some great git related stuff.

The Pasture: The blog of JenHeyd Meneide, a software engineer part of the C standard working group, contributing features and communicating on the evolutions of C among other things.

Fluent{C++}: Focusing on interesting C++ techniques, best practices, and software engineering overall, including an interesting article on levels of abstraction.
